Crystal Healing for Animals

Looking for a good book on Crystal Healing for Animals? This new book  by Martin J. Scott & Gael Mariani from the wonderful publishing house of Findhorn has a wealth of information on all levels of crystal healing with animals.

We have animals come to our shop with their owners wearing their healing crystal round their neck or even stuck to them with a sticking plaster on the area that needs healing. There are many ways to do crystal healing with animals.  If you place crystals in a collar, or round the animals neck, make sure you don’t just leave them there for months.  The animal does not have a choice in the matter & cannot take them off if they have had enough.  Be really attentive in this way.

Before you do healing, always ask permission of the animal (this goes for people too—never do unsolicited healing).  If you get a NO, just leave it for the time & come back another day. You can do a crystal layout on or around the affected area if the animal is happy to be still.

If you can get the animal lying quietly, take a crystal & run it through the animals auric field to check for a response.  At peace?  Ok to  on.  If not, try a different stone. Animals are instinctively so aware.  They know what they need on a deep instinctual level & if they create a bit of a rukus, it may mean you are trying to heal with an inappropriate crystal.

Once you have your animal resting, you can place a layout of crystals around them & then have a cuppa while the crystals do their work.  You may only be able to heal on this level for a few minutes.  Try again later &build the time up a few more minutes each time.  This is something new for your animal & they take time to assimilate to the new just as we do.

We have customers who come in from Two Wells in South Australia & they do a lot of healing with crystals on their horses.  Trial & error has taught them what works & what doesn’t.  Getting them to be still is one hurdle to overcome.  Much more challenging than dogs & cats.

Get a friend to help you & then you can each hold a crystal at the site on the body that needs healing.  Even a few minutes will work wonders.  Egon, our Reiki Master has a formidable knowledge of crystal healing & is also a bird trainer & has qualifications to work with injured falcons etc before returning them to their native environment.  For a sick bird, Egon places the crystals near the patient & quietly allows the stones to do their work.  They don’t have to be on the body to do their healing.  Nearby is fine.

Once we put hematite in the fish tank to charge the fish up as they were really inactive & the metal of the hematite killed the fish.  Not a good idea. If your fish are sickly, be very careful what you put in the tank to heal them.  May do more than heal!

Be really sensible when healing with crystals on your animals.  No sharp edges that they can roll &cut themselves on or cause an abrasion.  We often sell jewellery for animal crystal healing as it can be hung in a cage or a fish tank or near where the animal sleeps. 

If you are doing a Crystal Healing Layout, don’t take the usual hour you would take with a person.  15 minutes is enough.  Never force your animal to receive healing if it is ready to move away.  Only do one session in a day.  Crystals are very powerful.

Make an elixir by leaving a crystal in water for a full day to charge it with sun energy & a full night to charge it with moon, & give it to your animal as drinking water.  This is perfectly safe & an easy way to administer crystal healing.  Add them to a bath if appropriate or even rub the crystal infused water over the animal’s coat.

If you get a spray bottle & make an elixir, you can simply spray this over the animal.  This is a great way to do crystal healing as Bach Rescue Remedy drops can be added or other Flower Essences at the same time.  If you cannot get your animal to stop long enough for Reiki energy or other hands on healing, or they are really aggressive, do it by default.  Place your hands on the spray bottle, charge up the energy in it & thus do the hands on healing by proxy.  This is also a very powerful way of healing with animals.
